There is no denying that Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal is gangster material. Hence, the alter-ego “Street Jesus”. More recently, he has taken a swipe at boxing great Canelo Alvarez, avowing that the boxer isn’t willing to have a crack at him. This comes in the wake of Canelo, who is expected to face Callum Smith this December. The UFC too are planning to book a match between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington, which will see the winner get the shot at the welterweight title.

Now coming to Jorge’s ongoing feud with Canelo – Jorge took to twitter to respond to a fan saying that the boxer was unwilling to fight him.

Masvidal is not impressed at all!

Tagging Jorge Masvidal, a fan tweeted, “I think you and Canelo could be great!”; to which Jorge replied, “He don’t want it.” It is to be noted that, this is not the first time that Jorge and Canelo are feuding. It all started when Jorge Masvidal expressed his desire to face the boxer in his own sport, as Jorge didn’t like the demeaning comments Canelo made about MMA fighters.

Jorge then went on to claim in Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show saying, “Is Canelo a better boxer than me? Has he thrown 10,000 jabs more than me, cause that’s what he does morning and night cause he’s just boxing? Yeah. He’s a better boxer. But can I bring some elements that boxers ain’t used to that are in the legal realm of boxing and throw Canelo completely off his game? F*** yes.“
