“He hasn’t fought anyone,” Paddy Pimblett lashes at Islam Makhachev, picks Beneil Dariush winning

Paddy Pimblett
UFC Lightweight Paddy Pimblett made a spectacular entry into the UFC’s lightweight division with his spectacular first-round knockout back in September of 2021, that was just one fight for the UFC and in total, Pimblett fought twice last year. However, in order to keep the conversation going, Pimblett has to fight more than once inside the UFC octagon and for the fans and pros around the world, they see a bright future ahead for the English mixed-martial artist.

Pimblett is a former Cage Warrior’s lightweight champion. As of now, he has no opponents, but for being England’s very own, Pimblett might most probably fight in the March 19 card of UFC that is supposed to take place in the O2 Arena, London, England.
Paddy Pimblett claims to submit Dan Hooker in one round just like Islam Makhachev

In a recent episode of UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping‘s podcast titled Believe You Me, Pimblett talked a lot of things about his fighting career in 2022, which also included dismissing the rumours of Donald Cerrone fight. In his conversation, Pimblett also said a critical thing or two about fellow lightweight contender Islam Makhachev. With someone on a 9-fight win streak, Makhachev is going to fight Beneil Dariush who’s on a 7-fight win streak at UFC Fight Night on February 26, 2022.
“Whoever wins out of Oliveira/Gaethje (will enter 2023 with the title), because I can’t see Makhachev beating either of them… I think Dariush beats Makhachev. I rate Dariush mate, I think he’s very underrated. He’s f**king quality.”
“Makhachev hasn’t fought anyone lad,” Pimblett said. “He’s only fought Hooker. I think I’d submit Hooker in the first round. That’s what I mean, he’s a kickboxer lad. I’d take him down and submit him.” [h/t MMA News]
What did you make of Pimblett’s comments on Makhachev and who do you think wins between Makhachev and Dariush? At last, who do you think is next for Paddy Pimblett?
