Danis has a complicated relationship with MMA reporter Ariel Helwani and has appeared on the MMA Hour multiple times.

On a recent stacked episode of the MMA Hour hosted by Helwani, Danis sported a unique t-shirt. “El Jefe” wore a shirt featuring Helwani and NFL superstar OJ Simpson. However, he posted a photo with Helwani on Twitter wearing the T-shirt and captioned the photo, “Lady Killers.” However, Danis sneakily took a jibe at Simpson who was accused of murdering his ex-wife.
