Khabib and Justin in action during UFC 254 fight
The UFC president Dana White had a really long conversation with the UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at Fight Island. This conversation was about Khabib’s retirement.
‘The Eagle’ states that he is uncertain about the challenges that lie in front of him in the division. If he sees any fighter looking exciting enough to give him a competition he’ll come back for sure.
Khabib also revealed the conversation he and Justin Gaethje were having during the fight. Dana White says, “Khabib was telling me this when I was with him last night, and I didn’t know this, maybe you guys knew this but all the stuff that he and Gaethje were talking about during that fight,”

“Gaethje hit him with a couple of shots and then he thought Gaethje looked kind of weird and he pointed at him and said ‘you have jetlag’ in the middle of the fight. Gaethje said ‘no, I don’t’ and hit him with an uppercut and a left hook, he said.”
“Khabib said something to him again and he leg kicked him, Then I guess when Khabib took him down and was on top of him, he said ‘now what are you going to do?’”
Dana White plans to meet Khabib again in Las Vegas
‘The Eagle’ is supposed to stop at Fight Island for the fight of Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor but Khabib isn’t stopping now he’ll leave after the fight of his brother Umar Nurmagomedov.
White tells in the post-UFC press conference that he’ll be meeting Khabib once again in Las Vegas where he’ll finally tell that he is coming back or not.
