The former UFC two-division champ, Henry Cejudo has already stamped his authority as one of the greatest UFC fighters of all time at a relatively young age. Being the only UFC champion with an Olympic Gold Medal also boosts the confidence of this guy and this is the reason he never fears to call out anyone.
Cejudo vacated his UFC title and announced retirement from UFC, and he is showing interest to enter the professional boxing ring for a long period of time. In a massive upset on Saturday night, Teofimo Lopez Jr. shocked the boxing world by defeating Lomachenko in the title unification match by the judge’s decision.
With this win, Lopez now retained the IBF lightweight title, WBA, WBO, and the Ring Title Belts as well. Cejudo took this opportunity and give a Twitter callout to Lopez Jr. saying, “Teofimo Lopez congratulations on your unification. Be a good babysitter and watch over Daddy’s belts! You are next”.
Henry Cejudo has been compared himself with Ryan Gracia on several occasions in past and he himself even called out Ryan Gracia to face him.
What’s next for Cejudo?
Henry Cejudo is already showing his intention that he wants to fight Alexander Volkanovksi for the featherweight championship. If he makes his comeback and wins the fight against Volkanovski he’ll become the first three-division UFC champion.
If Cejudo decides to return to the Octagon, he will be eying on the UFC Title for sure. Apart from this, his interest in boxing is increasing day by day. So what is it going to be UFC or Cejudo will be adding one more championship as Boxing Title in his name? Only “The King of Cringe” Cejudo knows this, what’s next for him.
