Henry Cejudo, the former UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight Champion has hinted at a possible return to the octagon. His announcement comes in the wake of the controversial bantamweight title match between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling, which ended with Sterling winning the bantamweight belt due to Yan being disqualified. However, a rematch between the two seems imminent.

Speaking in a recent interview with ESPN’s SportsNation, Cejudo mentioned that the rematch between Yan and Sterling would surely happen, and he would like to take on both of them soon. However, this is the umpteenth time ‘The King of Cringe’ has hinted at a return.

‘Triple C is…back? Maybe?’

Cejudo was quoted as saying, “I think the rematch is gonna happen. I would personally like to line up both Petr Yan and Aljamain Curling-Sterling-Silver at the same time. You guys stay tuned, ‘Triple C’ is coming back! What’s up?”

Although Triple C has mentioned that he is coming back, one never knows when he can be taken seriously. Ever since his retirement, he has been hinting at a possibility of a return, but he has never even come remotely close to making a comeback. He last fought Dominick Cruz at UFC 249, handing Cruz a devastating loss in only the second round. 15 days later he vacated his title.

On the other hand, a rematch between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling is inevitable; Yan especially will be looking forward to getting back his title.

Will Cejudo come back and shakeup the bantamweight division? Sound off your comments!
