Tyler Herro’s performance in the 2019-20 season was the best in the league’s history by any rookie

Miami Heat’s wonder rookie Tyler Herro calls out Jimmy Butler as the ideal mentor of the side and reckons him as a good teammate. This would be pleasing to hear for Butler who has been painted as the opposite with his stints with Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers. It would not be to anyone’s surprise to say that Miami Heat would have not been able to win the Eastern Conference, if it was not for Jimmy Buttler and his leadership.

The 13th overall pick Tyler Herro also proved to be a vital player for the Heat, who stepped up his game against the big lads of the league. Tyler’s performance was the best by any rookie in the league’s history. Talking about Butler, all his teammates worshiped him and still consider him the best teammate one could have.

“As a teammate, he’s going to come to the gym, joke, smile, laugh. He’s just a great guy,” stated Herro. “He’s that guy who you would want to lead your team. Jimmy is a leader and people follow him. He always leads in the right direction. He is a worker, and he wants to win.”

Herro also explained what made the Heat and Butler fit so well together. He said, “That’s why the Heat and Jimmy get along so well is because they want to win and he wants to win. We put a really good team together. “

Never the less, Butler is the face of the Heat franchise and as long as he is around, they will always be title contenders.

It is safe to say that it looks like Butler has been redeemed as a teammate. Whatever took place with his previous teams is in the past now.
