NBA veteran JJ Reddick reveals on how he told his teammate Lonzo Ball to shoot more often. Lonzo Ball was one of the top prospects entering the league. This resulted in him being the second-overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. But eventually he was shown the exit gate after the Lakers wanted Anthony Davis in exchange of several players which included Ball as well.

But his arrival in the New Orleans Pelican, saw him pair up with the brightest young talent Zion Williamson. This duo eclipsed in the Western Conference. The Lonzo Ball, is more than just playing the supporting role, he is a solid Point Guard who can excel even more if pointed in the right direction.

“Shoot every f*ck*ng day” JJ Reddick on Lonzo Ball

Pelicans’ veteran JJ Reddick spoke to the press recently and admitted that he has been convincing Lonzo Ball to shoot more three-point shots. “I literally tell [Lonzo] every f—king day to shoot the ball. I hate when he passes up good shots. … He’s turned himself into a great shooter.”

Ball will be a focal point this season. His brother, LaMelo Ball, enters the league this season as a member of the Charlotte Hornets. But Lonzo will want to show, in friendly competition at least, that he is a better point guard than his brother. Additionally, Lonzo is yet to prove that he warranted the number two overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

Lonzo Ball has surely not fulfilled his ability in the NBA so far. There have been glimpses of his exceptional form, yet have not been permanent and constant. Going into the 2020-21 season, Ball is expected to deliver even more after a strong finish to the end of 2019-20 season in the NBA Bio-Bubble.
