Deiveson Figueiredo didn’t hold back while responding to Henry Cejudo who had recently called him ‘bum fighter of the year’. The UFC Flyweight champion tore into ‘Triple C’ warning him that he would knock his head off. With a rematch between himself and Brandon Moreno largely looming, it looks like ‘Deus da Guerra’ might have a crack at the ‘mouthy’ Cejudo.

Deiveson Figuieredo took to Instagram, where he posted a video warning Cejudo of knocking him out. The response from Deiveson comes after Cejudo recently tweeted, “Yo @danawhite I’m really trying to enjoy my retirement but your bum fighter of the year can’t get my name out his mouth. Even though he has that smelly belt, he knows who the best in the world is! I just want to know where did he get that Kush from @daico_deusdaguerra.”

Deiveson Figueiredo, had a memorable 2020, beating Joseph Benavidez for the flyweight championship and defending it against him, 5 months later. He then destroyed Alex Perez, with a first round submission win at UFC 255 and then put on a performance for the ages, against Brandon Moreno, which ended in a majority draw.

Henry Cejudo, on the other hand, fought just once in 2020 against Dominick Cruz, before announcing his retirement. But, ‘Triple C’ has always hinted at a possibility of making a return, ever since announcing his retirement. Going by the look of things, he might come back to fight Deiveson Figueiredo.
