It’s no secret that the Philadelphia Eagles’ fans aren’t happy with offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. Rookie or not, Patullo has been the scapegoat for a perceived underachieving offense that has yielded back-to-back losses since becoming Super Bowl champions in February.
Cries of ‘Fire Patullo‘ have been prevalent in nearly every home game. There is merit behind the anger. After 12 games, the Eagles’ offense currently ranks 24th in the NFL in total offense (averaging 304.8 yards per game) and 19th in points per game at 22.5. The Eagles are No. 23 in passing offense (averaging 196.3 YPG), and their run game ranks No. 22 (averaging 108.5 YPG).
The offense has only worsened since the bye week. Whether anyone admits it or not, the tension between quarterback Jalen Hurts and his receivers, especially AJ Brown, has been a major distraction.
Despite the variety of issues plaguing the Eagles, offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo is widely viewed as the primary cause of the stagnant offense. A bunch of Eagles fans decided to deal with Patullo in their way. They reportedly vandalized the 44-year-old’s home in New Jersey.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Patullo’s home was vandalized with multiple eggs at about 2:50 a.m. Saturday, hours after the Eagles lost, 24-15, to the Bears.
A group of young Eagles fans allegedly threw rocks at Kevin Patullo’s home last night. It is not 100% confirmed this is his home, but some in the comments familiar with the situation attest that is.

Hall of Fame writer blames Nick Sirianni over Kevin Patullo for the Eagles misery
A lot has been said about head coach Nick Sirianni‘s tenure as the Eagles head coach. Some say he’s overrated while others prefer to judge him through the lense of his positive record in Philly.

Sirianni is the second most winningest coach since taking over in 2021. His 56 wins from 80 games is only two fewer than the Chiefs’ total of 58. These include two trips to the Super Bowl, multiple NFC Championship victories and NFC East titles.
It’s one of the many reasons Sirianni gets a pass while discussing the Eagles’ recent misery. However, Hall of Fame sports writer Ray Didinger believes that the 44-year-old coach should be blamed for the Eagles being 8-4 instead of Patullo.
I hold Sirianni more responsible because…Patullo may be making the calls, but Sirianni has allowed it to get to this point. And here we are, you know, 12 games into the season and you still haven’t answered the questions we’ve been asking in week one.
Ray Didinger said in an interview with Sports Radio 94WIP

Sirianni also shielded Patullo from the social media onslaught. He is not going to make a in-season change in his coaching team with the NFC number seed on the line (currently occupied by the Bears).
We want to get this [offense] thing fixed more than anybody. We live it, breathe it, and [are] involved in it every waking second of our lives. That’s what we’re working on right now.
Sirianni said this week
Nick Sirianni says it was a “different scenario” when he switched play-caller midseason before a few years ago. He says he takes the blame for the offensive struggles and reaffirms his confidence in the coaching staff. He reiterated that Kevin Patullo will remain the play-caller. pic.twitter.com/rf4Gk4le1z

The Eagles play the 8-4 Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14. Justin Herbert, the Chargers quarterback, could miss the game as he’s set to undergo surgery.
