“Hopefully, I play long enough to play a girl that said I was once her favorite player” Osaka on her cool quotient

Naomi Osaka looks like she has a good head on her shoulders. After winning her 2nd Australian Open she was calm and respectful as ever. In the post match conference, she talked about leaving a legacy behind in the sport. She said it would be a big thing for her if in the years to come she plays someone who used to look up to her in her formative years.
Osaka also talked about Li Na, the Chinese superstar, and how she was a big fan of Li’s growing up. But unfortunately Osaka never got to play Li Na on the tour.
Osaka also credit her mum and sister for making her laugh and keeping it relaxed for her. Something which is vital for any professional player.
A straight sets win, a 2nd Australian Open win, the world wakes up to the genius of Japanese Superstar Naomi Osaka

Naomi Osaka has time and again been dubbed the next biggest thing in the world of sports. A superstar tennis player, she is the face of the TOKYO 2021 Olympics, because of which she gave up her American citizenship and is a Japanese national now. With Serena’s rein almost over, Osaka looks set to carry the baton into the future.
Against Jennifer Brady in the finals, Osaka looked a class apart. She always had that extra moment to read the game, and choose her shots immaculately. Brady was also guilty of getting the big occasion to get to her as she did make some unforced errors at crucial moments. In the end, Osaka deservedly ran out victorious, winning in straight sets, 6-4 6-3.
With this win, Osaka won her 4th Grand Slam overall, and her 2nd Australian Open.
