Cody Rhodes will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle. This time, the match between the Georgia natives will be taking place under the “I Quit” stipulation. Having said that, babyfaces usually tend to emerge victorious in this scenario. However, if The Phenomenal One plays his cards right, he might walk out as a three-time WWE Champion.
The American Nightmare confirmed on his Instagram story that his mother will be traveling with him to Scotland. Therefore, it seems that she’ll also be attending the PLE, where she’ll watch her son battle it out with Styles. With The Good Brothers and Michin on his side, the OC leader can conjure up a plan to claim the world title.

Fans can expect the faction to use Mama Rhodes to force the ever-resistant Undisputed Champion to utter those two words. In fact, this could be similar to the “I Quit” match between Edge and Finn Balor, where The Judgment Day attacked the Rated-R Superstar’s wife, Beth Phoenix. Although Cody Rhodes just won the championship at WrestleMania, this would be a welcome shock result.
Moreover, it could easily pave the way for the third and final bout of a personal rivalry. Obviously, this would end with the former Intercontinental Champion winning his belt back. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see whether AJ Styles does resort to crossing the line or if Rhodes overcomes the odds and successfully walks out as the as the still-Undisputed Champion.
Mark Henry says he received a text from AJ Styles following SmackDown segement
Less than two weeks ago, AJ Styles took a page out of Mark Henry‘s book and recreated the infamous fake retirement promo. The former TNA star duped Cody Rhodes into getting the latter to give him another shot at the Undisputed title.

Recently, Henry revealed that he received a text message from Syles after the segment. While speaking with Sean Ross Sapp, the veteran talked about the overwhelming feeling of watching other wrestlers imitate his moves.
Furthermore, he said that The Phenomenal One reached out to him, asking if he was proud of what he had pulled off. Henry claimed that he teared up and found the moment to be special.
