Nate Diaz is one of the fiercest and biggest names in the UFC Welterweight division. He has the ability to continue fighting even after enduring a high amount of damage. This raises a question in our mind, how many times has Nate Diaz been finished in his MMA career?
Throughout his 16-year-long MMA career, Diaz has been involved in battles with some of the biggest names. Conor McGregor, Rory McDonald, Ben Henderson, Jorge Masvidal, and the list just goes on for Nate Diaz’s opponents. Diaz holds a record of (22-13) in his professional MMA career but the majority of his losses (9) came via decision.

WEC 24: Full Force
Before making his debut in the UFC, Diaz used to fight in a promotion called World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC). After securing 2 victories on the promotion Diaz earned a title shot against Hermes Franca in 2006.
Although the fight started well for Diaz, he was submitted by Franca in the second round. Incredibly, the champion deployed an Armbar from the bottom guard to submit a young Nate Diaz.

UFC on Fox: Henderson vs. Melendez
‘The Stockton Slugger’ Nate Diaz fought against Josh Thomson on UFC on Fox: Henderson vs Melendez in April 2013. Diaz had eight losses on his record but all of them came via unanimous decision or split decision.
His opponent, Josh Thomson was making his UFC debut in this fight and he had a really good first round. Surprisingly, he wobbled Diaz with a leg kick and at the end of the round secured a takedown to finish the first round on a high note.
In the second round of the fight, Diaz started with more aggression but Thomson caught him with a head kick that stunned him. Subsequently, he followed it with some hard punches that folded Diaz to the canvas. Thomson landed some hammer fists to press the final nail in the coffin. Watching Nate Diaz unable to defend himself, the referee stopped the fight.

UFC 244: Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal
Nate Diaz stepped into the Octagon against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244. This fight is scheduled for the iconic BMF title that was announced by Dwayne Johnson.
Masvidal and Diaz fought a fierce battle for three rounds and tore each other apart. At the end of the third round of the fight, Diaz’s eye busted open and the doctor stopped the fight. Unfortunately, though Diaz didn’t get KO’d, still it resulted in the second TKO loss of his career via Doctor Stoppage.
