How much money did LIV Golf offer Tiger Woods to come join the Series?

The LIV Golf Series has caused a lot of controversy recently, as it has sent the golf world into a hostile divide. As several golfers make the switch and face the wrath of the PGA and DP Tours, there are others that remained loyal. One can see how being offered 7 or 8 figure digits as a salary might be tempting for almost anyone, but others wonder how they can overlook the Saudi backing to the Series.
One such golfer was veteran Tiger Woods. One of the most successful golfers of all times, Woods has refused to join the LIV Series, even for enormous amounts of money, as he remains loyal to the PGA Tour. The 15 times Major Champion was offered quite a lot of money- almost too much to imagine- by the LIV Series, but he had other plans in mind.
Tiger Woods offered ‘high nine digit’ figure to join LIV Golf Series

Norman says that Woods turned down a deal that was “Mind-blowing enormous, we’re talking about high nine digits”. This of course would mean that the amount was closer to $1 billion dollars, the most amount of money offered to any golfer out there. Phil Mickelson was offered $200 million, while golfers like Bryson DeChambeau were given $100-150 million. However, nothing beats the high offer that was given to Woods, and rightfully so.
Yet, Woods does not find much value in the tour. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the 150th Open, Woods said, “I just don’t see how that move is positive, in the long-term. What these players are doing for guaranteed money … what is the incentive to practice? What is the incentive to go out there and earn it in the dirt? You’re just getting paid a lot of money upfront and playing a few events and playing 54 holes.”
