Tyrrell Hatton won the individual title at the LIV Golf event in Nashville, finishing six strokes ahead of the field. This was Hatton’s first individual win in over three and a half years. Hatton’s teammate Jon Rahm finished tied for third.
In the team competition, Hatton’s Legion XIII squad came out victorious, finishing the tournament at 40-under par. This was the team’s third win of the season.
Legion XIII’s performance was particularly impressive given that the Nashville course favored “birdie-fest” events, a format with which the team had struggled in the past. However, all four Legion XIII players shot under par in the final round. This allowed them to hold off a late charge from the Crushers.
The members of the winning Legion XIII team earned significant prize money:
- Tyrrell Hatton: $4 million (individual winner)
- Jon Rahm: $4.5 million (individual T3 + team win)
- Caleb Surratt: $3.6 million
- Kieran Vincent: $3.525 million
The Legion XIII team earned $3 million for the team victory. This, combined with the individual payouts, made this a very lucrative tournament for the squad.
Tyrrell Hatton took home $4 million for his individual win. Jon Rahm, who finished tied for third individually and contributed to the team win, earned $4.5 million. Surratt and Vincent earned $3.6 million and $3.525 million respectively.
