How to complete heal hiding in leaf pile quest in Fortnite?

In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, leaf piles have been added to the map. This has allowed players to hide in them to ambush unsuspecting opponents or hide from would-be attackers. Players can use this playstyle to great effect, although it is limited in-game.

The developers have tasked players with restoring health and/or shields while hiding in a leaf pile to receive 16,000 XP and unlock cosmetics on the Battle Pass sooner. To accomplish this challenge, players can try the following methods:

Obtaining the Bush Warrior Augment: The easiest way to complete this challenge is to obtain the Bush Warrior Augment and find a leaf pile to enter. Once inside, it will allow players to fully regenerate their hit points and restore 50 shield points in a few seconds (only if damage has been sustained or shields are at zero). The only downside to using this method is that Augments are obtained randomly, so players may not be able to get one over the course of a single match.

Using Healing Items: For those with bad luck with the RNG Gods, using items to regenerate hit points and restore shields is the best idea. Players can find healing items as floor loot or can be collected/harvested during the match. Once sufficient quantity of an item has been found/procured, players need to enter a bush and heal themselves using it.

Note that this challenge requires players to either have no shield points and/or a mix-and-match of low hit points and low and/or no shield points. Replenishing/regenerating 100 points worth of either one or both will complete the challenge. If players have maxed-out health and shield points, they will have to sustain some damage before being able to replenish/regenerate them.

Where to find leaf pile in Fortnite?

To find a leaf pile, players can look for clumped up piles of leaves in autumn/medieval biomes present on the island. The yellow/brown leaves blend in seamlessly with the environment, so players may have difficulty spotting them. However, they can keep an eye out or play with a teammate and ask them to mark any leaf piles they encounter.

Since the leaf piles are scattered all over the island, players can find them easily. However, players will have to take care that they are completely hidden while healing, otherwise the quest will not be completed. Completing this quest will give vplayers16000 XP. It’ll be interesting to find out what kind of camouflage or hiding techniques players use in the game.
