The second major update of BGMI was released yesterday by Krafton on Android devices and the iOS users have also received the update today. Step 1: Head over to Google Play Store and search Battlegrounds Mobile India or click here.

Step 2: Players have to click on the update button to download the latest version of BGMI. It is recommended that players should use a Wi-Fi connection to download the update as the size of the update is 335 MB.

Step 1: iOS users need to open App Store and search for Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Step 2: Click on the update option to enjoy the new content of 1.6 update.

An alternate method for iOS users is that they can click on the profile icon after heading over to App Store. Check the available updates and tap on the update option of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The update size is around 2 GB.

Flora Menace Mode

This mode will be available in three maps- Erangel, Sanhok and Livik. The mode will be released in Erangel initially and will be available in the rest two maps later. The chief content of this mode will be DynaHex Store, Zillion Matrix and Rejuvenation Barrier. Players can defeat robots to collect nacore chips and buy supplies from the DynaHex Store.

Returning Modes

Vikendi map and various other modes will see a comeback in the game with various improvements. The following modes will be available in the game-

  • Runic Power
  • VS AI
  • Titans Last Stand
  • Survive Till Dawn
  • Metro Royale: Reunion
  • Payload 2.0
  • Infection Mode

This update will also make modifications in classic matches. New features such as quicker scope adjustment, improved UAZ durability and show route option will also be a part of the update. Players who download BGMI 1.6 Update will be given a new lobby theme for 60 days and 2 classic crate coupons.
