The Soul Torch is a variation of the normal Torch, but has a distinctly different flame as well as another additional effect.

The Torch is a light source and one of the easiest items to make upon starting the game. The Soul Torches are the turquoise variant of the torch that can be crafted once players acquire soul sand.

The Soul Torch does not generate naturally and players need to craft it to obtain it. Players can put this on the side or top of any block to illuminate the areas.

Soul Torches in Minecraft emit a light level of 10, which is a little less than the normal torches. However, they repel Piglins in a radius around it, just like Soul Lanterns.
