Minecraft Food Items are useful in restoring health and also to keep the players from starving. Food will give the players health regeneration and other effects. This stew is the only item in the game which has one name but varied effects and is truly a great item if used properly.

Minecraft Suspicious Stew

The Suspicious Stew is a food item that the players can make and it gives the player a random status effect based on what is used to craft it.

These are naturally generated in shipwreck chests and does not spawn anywhere else. The player has no way of knowing what the Suspicious Stew does, until they eat them to test out the effects.

There is another strange way of obtaining the Suspicious Stew in Minecraft. This is by giving a Mooshroom a Flower and the Suspicious Stew milked from the Mooshrooms will come with the effects of the flower.

Players can also get them from trading with expert-level farmer villagers, but they cannot know the effects. And this costs 1 Emerald each.

Varieties of Effects and Flowers

The Suspicious Stew restores 6 hunger bars and gives the players 7.2 hunger saturation and a random status effect based on the flower used to craft it. Players cannot know the variants because it is not listed in the Crafting Table. Here is the complete list of flowers and their effects:

The Suspicious Stew is the only way to get the Blindness and Saturation effects in Minecraft and is thus used to complete the How Did We Get Here achievement!

How to make Suspicious Stew in Minecraft?

There is no way of knowing what the effects of the flower added to stew are from beforehand, and therefore, players should check out the table above first before making the stew.

The Suspicious Stew in Minecraft requires:

• Red Mushroom x1
• Brown Mushroom x1
• Bowl x1
• Any Flower x1

Players can combine them in the Crafting Table to obtain a bowl of Suspicious Stew. After eating it, the empty bowl is returned to the players.
