Netherite is the best mineral block/item in the game to craft weapons and armors with. This has toppled diamond as the hardest material in the game, and is the best material right now.

Netherite Scrap is a material smelted from Ancient Debris that is a very rare block found in the Nether. This can only be used in crafting Netherite Ingots and that in turn is used in making Netherite armor and weapons.

This is the only mineral block that does not share the same name as the Ingot and also has a complex smelting and crafting process.

Ancient Debris is the main block that is required to start the whole process of crafting and smelting. This block can be found in the Nether realm only, in very rare cases underground and in Chests of Bastion Remnants. Netherite Scraps can also be found naturally forming in Chests of Bastion Remnants as well.

The Ancient Debris needs to be Smelted in a Furnace with any kind of fuel to make Netherite Scraps.

This in turn, can be combined with Netherite Scraps with Gold Ingots to make a Netherite Ingots, which in turn, can be used in making armor and weapons!
