Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG game featuring a lot of different endings based on the player’s decisions. The game is riddled with quest lines and missions to complete. In this article we take a look at one such mission. This mission involves the player obtaining a Militech Chip and removing Cyberpunk chip virus. It is one of the first quest lines player will get involving a job with Dex along with Jackie and Evelyn. The quest has a number of moving cogs and it may get fairly long. This virus removal is one optional quest in this long quest line. Players can choose to meet with Militech agent Stout to obtain the mission.

The meeting with Stout results in him giving the player a chip to pay Royce for the Hammerhead that Dex needs. Maelstorm gangsters had ripped off Militech and they wanted to get back at them.  It is a fairly early quest and players will encounter it early enough in the storyline. Removing the Virus from the Militech Chip in Cyberpunk 2077

Removing the virus is a rather simple task. The required things are all available at your disposal. So here’s how to remove the virus from the chip in Cyberpunk 2077.

Players need to navigate their way to journals of the main tab and open the shards section from there.

Players can now find the registered Military Datashard. Select the shard and crack its security. To do so the correct sequence of numbers need to the entered. Options for the codes are on the left side of the screen and the right has the codes that need to entered in the correct fashion.

Players then need to Copy Malware and Neutralize malware to finish the task. The codes to copy are BD BD FF 55. The codes to neutralize the Malware are 1C E9. This will remove the virus from the chip.
