Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season is stacked with numerous matchups that are hard to miss. Football fans have a busy yet action-packed Sunday filled with great football. With a total of 12 games, it is not enough to have just one screen and stick to watching a single game.
Luckily, fans have the option to stream multiple games on a single screen. After all, nobody ever complained about having too many football games in one day! Some boxes ought to be checked before one can avail of the multiview option. Only if these conditions are met, then can one view different games simultaneously on a single screen.
The Multiview option enables fans to watch a total of four games at the same on a smart TV or a streaming device such as a laptop, iPad, phone, or tablet. The following are the conditions to consider before using this feature:
- Fans must have an active subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket and the NFL RedZone to watch multiviews. A subscription to only either of them will not allow one to avail of the multiview feature.
- Presently, Multiview is available for YouTube TV on Smart TVs, media players, and other devices such as phones and tablets.
- Fans have the option to cast from their mobile phones onto their TV.
- AirPlay is not supported.

Fans require an active subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube to enjoy up to 4 football games at once
Open the YouTube TV App on the smart TV or streaming device of choice. To find the multiview option, follow these steps:
- Begin watching an NFL game.
- Select the down button on the controller, this will result in the multiview option surfacing.
- When attempting to find multiple views on the YouTube TV app while streaming on a mobile or tablet, first, start watching a game and then tap the multiview option on the player.
NFL subscribers can choose up to 4 games they can stream on one screen simultaneously. For NFL Sunday Ticket Subscribers, there exists the option to choose from different multiview streams on Sunday. This can be done 30 minutes before the commencement of the game.
Fans can build their own multiview by following these steps.
- Select an out-of-market game, and choose Watch in Multiview.
- From the list of games available, pick up to four games to stream on a single screen.
- The option to build a multiview is not available for fans using the YouTube mobile app. However, fans can still use the multiview feature to stream pre-selected NFL game combinations.
However, certain combinations of games may be unavailable. Fans have the option to switch between the audio of the games they are streaming. This can be done via the controls on the remote.
Switch to the game and highlight the view to hear. A white border can be observed around the window which is playing the audio. Apart from this, the rest is straightforward. Fans can switch to full screen by pressing the select button on the remote and can switch back by pressing ‘back.’
Fans with an active NFL RedZone and NFL Sunday Ticket subscription will have a wider range of games to choose from. This combination will allow fans to watch out-of-market games and RedZone.
To catch local games, fans require a YouTube Base Plan along with Sunday Ticket games. Based on the location, the games available will be determined algorithmically.
