Without a doubt, Hulk Hogan‘s popularity goes beyond the world of professional wrestling. Many fans knew exactly who Hogan was and the impact he had made on the industry. Recently, The Hulkster revealed how his unfathomable fame led to him receiving dinner invites from two pop icons, Cher and Madonna.

While speaking on the PBD Podcast, Hogan detailed his close encounters with both celebrities. First, the former WWE Champion recalled police officers approaching him at the WWE Headquarters while he was attending Vince McMahon‘s birthday party. Hogan was informed that Sher had sent a limousine for him downstairs. Furthermore, the legend claimed that he rejected the dinner as he was with his wife at the time.

Similarly, Madonna invited him to a party in New York City. Hogan said that he was competing at MSG on the same night, and Madonna had also sent a car. Once again, however, Hogan declined the offer as he was with his wife. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that these two instances were exemplary of how his on-screen wrestling character submerged into the real world.

Then there was another time when Madonna put out that S&M book—I can’t remember what they called it. She had a party in New York City, and I was at the Garden that night. She sent a car to pick me up to come to her party. And once again, I was with my wife, so I’m not doing that stuff.

Although Hogan claims otherwise, fans should take these stories skeptically. After all, the 71-year-old is known to be a notorious liar. Previously, Hogan has said that he helped WWE poach Kevin Owens by noticing his potential. In addition to that, the real-life Terry Bollea claimed he was the first wrestler to bodyslam Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 3, despite the latter being picked up and dropped on his back several times before.

Hulk Hogan endorses Donald Trump ahead of presidential elections

Over the past couple of months, Hulk Hogan has become vocal about his political views. The WWE Hall of Famer infamously spoke at the Republic National Convention in July. Hogan later revealed that he has been a Republican throughout his entire life but was afraid of publicly disclosing it.

However, the assassination attempt on Donald Trump changed things significantly. Hogan lauded the Republican candidate for showing bravery and determination after being shot at during a rally. The former WWE Champion recently claimed that Trump was advocating to bring God to America

Hogan isn’t the only wrestling legend to have endorsed the former POTUS. The Undertaker and Kane appealed to citizens to vote for Trump during their collaboration with the latter. In fact, the 78-year-old appeared on Undertaker’s podcast, where the duo discussed wrestling and politics in detail.
