The annual NFL Super Bowl finals recently concluded on February 9th. This year featured the Philadelphia Eagles challenging the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. As is the case every year, the finals featured a half-time show with a prominent musical artist performing his songs. The 2025 edition featured Kendrick Lamar performing some of his most famous songs, including ‘Not Like Us.’ However, it appears that Hulk Hogan was not a big fan of this performance.

During an interview with Fox News, Hogan said that he could not understand a single word uttered by Kendrick Lamar. He turned up the volume on his TV and even had some people yelling in his house during the performance. However, it all seemed to fly right over his head.

Hogan said that he wanted Willie Nelson to come out and start singing America the Beautiful instead. Many took this as a joke, but the host asked if he seriously wanted the 91-year-old to come out and perform during the halftime show, especially now that Donald Trump was President. The Hulkster responded enthusiastically, claiming that he would love to see that.

Bro, I couldn’t understand a word that was being said, man. I had my volume turned up. I had a bunch of people yelling and screaming at the house, and I really didn’t know what was going on, man. I was waiting for Willie Nelson to come out, man, and sing America the Beautiful or something.

Of course, it is no secret that Hogan is a huge fan of the current President of the United States. He was a huge advocate for Trump leading up to the 2024 Presidential election. He even appeared at the Republican National Convention, tore off his shirt, and cut a wrestling-styled promo in favor of his fellow Hall of Famer.

Hulk Hogan made an appearance on the debut episode of Raw on Netflix. His company, Real American Beer, signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with WWE, and its logo was present on the ring mat throughout. Furthermore, the former WWE Champion himself came out to cut a promo and promote his company. However, he ended up getting booed out of the building.

Hulk Hogan made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on February 3rd and put a positive spin on the backlash that he had received. He claimed that his segment on Raw Netflix had received over 11 billion views on social media. Meanwhile, some of the other big names who appeared on the same episode were only able to garner 3 billion impressions.

You know how Hogan talks, the eyes get real wide. You know how Hogan is. Bro, he told McAfee with a straight face, Chris, I don’t know if you saw this or not, 11 billion people watched that clip. 11 billion people, bro! I’m like, bro, seriously, man? 11 billion?

Speaking on The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo brought up how stupid this claim was because there are only eight billion people in the world. Now, of course, Hogan is known to be a pathological liar. Most of his lies highly contradict reality. He is even on record, saying that there was a time when he used to wrestle 400 days in a year.
