Hulk Hogan‘s children, especially his daughter, Brooke, hasn’t been able to maintain the best of relationships with her polarizing dad. Having distanced herself from Hulk for personal healing, Brooke finally has a big reason to smile. The 36-year-old took to Instagram to announce the birth of her twins. Born on January 15, the boy’s named Oliver Andrew Oleksy, while Molly Gene Oleksy is the baby girl.
Brooke continued saying that she and her husband, Steven Oleksy‘s, hearts are full with the arrival of these two sweet souls in their lives. For the unversed, Hogan and Oleksy privately married in June 2022, and Brooke didn’t acknowledge it publicly until early the New Year’s Day in 2024.
Brooke’s love life has been tumultuous more than anything. In 2013, she was engaged to Dallas Cowboys alum Phil Costa. But the two called it off shortly afterwards. A couple of years later, an incident featuring Brooke’s father, Hulk Hogan, shocked everyone.
The WWE HOF’er was caught using the N-word while referring to his daughter’s then-boyfriend, who was presumably of African descent. Despite the repulsive behavior of her father, Brooke never doubted Hulk as a person. She stood by and defended him to extents only a daughter could’ve done. The audio tape in which Hulk was heard hurling those racist slurs was leaked online.
Its ramifications saw WWE sever any ties with The Hulkster they had at that point. Though the 71-year-old was reinstated into the Hall of Fame in 2018, the wrestling fans to this day haven’t been able to forgive the retired icon. Fellow wrestling name Mark Henry recently told TMZ that Hogan actually never made an effort to fix things following his racist tirade about a decade ago.
Hulk Hogan’s WWE status continues to peeve the fans
This year has been off to a disastrous start for Hulk Hogan. Back on January 6, he made an appearance at the Intuit Dome for the Netflix premiere of Raw. With Jimmy Hart waving the American flag in the background, Hogan would’ve never expected that he’d be booed out of the arena.
He allegedly believed that those “liberals” in Los Angeles couldn’t stand him due to his association with Donald Trump. However, if that’s so, The Undertaker should’ve ended up on the wrong side of the fans as well. But he was cheered instead.
In essence, the WWE Universe was well-aware of Hogan’s racist past and wanted to voice their displeasure for the real-life Terry Bollea. It doesn’t seem like Hogan’s done with his WWE ventures. He’s reportedly slated to be a part of next weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event special from San Antonio, Texas.
