Many of WWE’s current and past partnerships are quite controversial and have been viewed negatively by fans. Over the past decade, the company has been under a lot of fire for its affiliation with the Saudi Arabian government. The promotion recently signed an agreement with Hulk Hogan and his company, Real American Beer, which has not helped WWE’s perception among fans at all.
To commemorate the partnership, Hogan made a live appearance on Netflix’s debut episode of Raw. He was joined by Jimmy Hart, who waved the American flag in the background. While some cheers could still be heard in the audience, the crowd at the Intuit Dome started loudly booing him. The former WWE Champion also looked somewhat taken aback after seeing this reaction.
Hulk Hogan got on the mic and started talking about all the great tag team partners he had over the years. However, his greatest partners were always the fans. Now, he believes that WWE has found a great partner in Netflix. Finally, he promoted his beer company, tore his t-shirt, and walked away.

WWE recently signed a multi-year deal with Hogan’s Real American Beer. The ring for this special Raw episode featured a black mat with several logos on it. The Real American Beer logo was also featured as a sponsor on the squared circle. This branding will supposedly appear on every single episode of Raw moving forward.
