“He wants to help America have god,” WWE legend Hulk Hogan reveals being drastically affected by Donald Trump’s assassination attempt
Hulk Hogan expressed his reaction over the assassination attempt of Donald Trump a few months ago in Philadelphia.

Hulk Hogan has been really opinionated about his political views for the past few months. Amid the preparations for the 2024 US elections, he touched upon various topics in his recent interviews. In fact, he even revealed his feelings during the first assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
Speaking on the PBD Podcast, Hogan said that he took a heavy toll when Trump was shot a few months ago. He added that the former POTUS is close to him. Therefore, seeing him have a near-death experience was terrible.
Moreover, the 78-year-old praised Trump in the interview. He called him the savior of the USA. He claimed that Donald wants to help people in America live a better life. Therefore, the Republican candidate has the support of the former WWE Champion throughout the elections.
Many WWE legends, like The Undertaker, have openly voiced their support for Trump. Other celebrities like Jake Paul have even endorsed the latter to become the next US President. However, there are also some who are against the 78-year-old, like Dave Bautista, who made scathing remarks about Trump recently.
WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund said he would have fired Hulk Hogan thirty years ago if he was in charge
Hulk Hogan has crafted a whole generation of professional wrestling. After representing WWE for well over two decades, Hogan slowly passed the torch and went away in glory. However, according to WWE legend Bob Backlund, The Hulkster was never meant to be the face of WWE.
Speaking on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, Backlund said that Hogan was a hypocrite. He elucidated that the former WWE Champion was saying one thing on WWE TV and doing the complete opposite of it outside the business. Therefore, if he were in charge, he would have fired Hogan thirty years ago, averred the WWE legend.
During his prime, Hogan was involved in a number of scandals, including the infamous steroid trial and choking an interviewer on live television. In fact, these controversies followed the trail of the 78-year-old, who was recently called out for being racist.
