Hulk Hogan has recently started to enter the realm of politics. He is a proud Republican, and he attended last night’s Republican National Convention. The 70-year-old must’ve surely reminded some people of their childhood when he cut a WWE-styled promo and ripped off his shirt like he used to in his wrestling days in honor of Donald Trump.
Speaking at the convention, The Hulkster started to take his blazer off. He expressed frustration over the fact that his hero was shot last week in an attempt to kill the next president of the United States. He then tore off his t-shirt in classic Hogan fashion and asserted that enough was enough. He revealed that he was wearing a “Trump-Vance” shirt underneath.
Hogan screamed “Let Trumpamania run wild,” a wordplay on his iconic catchphrase. Further, he wanted Trumpamania to rule and make America great again. The audience started to go ballistic as the former WWE Champion delivered his lines and started a USA chant. Even Donald Trump, who was present in the crowd, seemed delighted by this speech and started clapping with a smile on his face.
Trump himself has had deep ties in WWE. He had a feud with Vince McMahon, dubbed the ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ nearly two decades ago. Furthermore, the former President of the United States was also inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, Hogan recently expressed interest in running for President of the United States in the near future.

In addition to this heated promo, Hogan had several words to say about the Republican candidate. He said that he had stepped into the ring with some of the “baddest dudes” on the planet during his career in WWE. However, Trump was the toughest of them all. He further called his hero a gladiator for continuing to do what he did despite the recent assassination attempt.
The WWE legend said that Trump’s enemies had tried everything they could. The WWE Hall of Fame inductee had faced investigations, impeachments, and court cases. However, he was still standing and taking everyone on.
Hulk Hogan heavily endorsed Trump for the presidency of the United States. He claimed that the 78-year-old would bring America back together, one real American at a time. Eventually, the man of the hour got up on stage and addressed the attempt on his life. Furthermore, he accepted the Republican presidential nomination, making his candidacy official.
