There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Hulk Hogan will always remain a WWE legend and one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. However, it is also true that even after so many years of retirement, he remains one of the most controversial personalities in people’s eyes. The Hulkster shared a story about a certain WWE Hall of Famer who hated him.
Logan Paul welcomed Hulk Hogan on his Impaulsive podcast. The former United States Champion told him that The Hulkster was on his Mount Rushmore of wrestlers. However, the Hall of Famer acknowledged that he wasn’t loved by everyone and revealed that Bret Hart hated everyone, including him. He even stated that the Canadian legend also hated Vince McMahon and Ric Flair and vowed never to work with the former chairman.
Hogan shared an anecdote about both of them wrestling together in their early days. He stated that everything was going well until The Hitman accused him of ruining his career. Although the Hall of Famer didn’t understand why he took a shot at him, he admitted that he loved him dearly and said he was a great asset to the company. The former world champion said he wanted to focus on positive energy.
Bret hates everybody. Bret hates everybody. If it's not me, it's Flair, it's Vince. 'I'll never work for Vince again after what happened to my family.' Then he's back. It just never ends with him. We were all getting started and it was all fun. Then we got rolling and he says 'I destroyed his career.' Okay. Alright.Hulk Hogan on Bret Hart via the Impaulsive podcast
The Immortal One has faced criticism from fans for his controversial statements on politics and racism. Recently, he fired a black female employee who was an ambassador for his drinking brand without providing a reason. Furthermore, Hogan faced backlash for making extremely insensitive racist remarks about U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Hulk Hogan feels Logan Paul has an opportunity to be the next big thing in WWE
Despite not being a professional wrestler, Logan Paul proved all his doubters wrong with his hard work and dedication. He gradually earned the respect of his peers through his determination and effort. Hulk Hogan also shared this belief, feeling that The Maverick had the potential to become the next big attraction in the wrestling business.
During the conversation on the same podcast, The Hulkster expressed that he was highly impressed with him as he followed his wrestling career. What surprised him the most was that he had never seen someone grasp the business as quickly as Paul did. Hogan further added that everything Paul did as a heel champion made sense, and there wasn’t a single bad thing he could point out.
You have an opportunity to be the next big attraction, simply because I've never seen anybody getting this quick as you have. Your stuff looks f**king believable, there's no hole in your work... So just don't get hurt.Hulk Hogan to Logan Paul via the Impaulsive podcast
The 29-year-old star last appeared at SummerSlam, where he defended his U.S. title against LA Knight. Unfortunately, he lost his cherished title to The Megastar in an incredible match. He had held the title for more than 250 days, becoming one of the longest reigning champions in history.
