Last week on Wednesday, Hulk Hogan was scheduled for a meet-and-greet event in Orange County. Per one of the attendees, he had committed for two hours – 6 to 8 pm EST. But not only was he an hour late, Hogan allegedly left after 30 minutes at 7:30. As a result, a number of attendees had to be turned down, resulting in disgruntled faces.
Robert Taylor, a native of New Windsor, took his children, a son and a daughter, to the event. While they started their day on a high note, it ended up being a complete dud. Taylor shared the forgettable experience with News12. He noted that his son had a Pokemon card with Hogan impressed on it. Taylor’s son was wishful of getting an autograph from the WWE HOF’er.
However, little did he know that it wouldn’t come to fruition. Taylor and his children were standing at #185 in an otherwise long queue. The fans were informed that Mr. Hogan would only be able to meet people till the 200th spot. Taylor and co. eventually returned empty-handed after The Immortal One had abruptly abandoned the meet-and-greet.

The eyewitness claimed that another lady was even cursing at Hogan’s unprofessional conduct. Multiple kids were reduced to tears, including Taylor’s. This wasn’t the first time Hulk’s beer promotion had gone wrong. Last year, in Ohio, a lady filed a lawsuit against the wrestling great after attending his RAB-centric event in Ohio. She got hit by an airborne can to her head along the hairline.
Hulk Hogan joined forces with WWE quite recently
The 71-year-old retired wrestler made a rare WWE appearance back in January on the Netflix premiere of Raw. It was learned that his one-off gig was a by-product of the multi-year partnership his Real American beer had struck with WWE.

The deal was met with censure from netizens, who were incensed knowing they’d have to see more of Hogan on WWE television. Anyway, when he did show up at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, the packed house rained down a chorus of boos on Hogan.
The real-life Terry Bollea later admitted to Pat McAfee that he was expecting the negative reaction due to his political ties with POTUS Donald Trump. The Hulkster even took a dig at the inevitable plight of the people of California if Kamala Harris gets elected as the governor. Hogan’s embarrassing Raw outing gained mainstream attention.
It elicited a response from a number of wrestling pundits and those in WWE. Mark Henry told TMZ that the societal changes wouldn’t condone a bit that Hogan’s in the wrong for. Henry claimed that the polarizing figure has never tried to mend fences. In 2025, almost no wrestling fan is oblivious to Hulk’s racist audio clip that was leaked online about a decade ago.
The Undertaker gave first-hand reaction of Hulk Hogan after his Raw debacle
The Netflix premiere of Raw was a stacked affair. Numerous legends graced the occasion, including The Undertaker. He recalled seeing Hulk Hogan after the latter had returned backstage from being slapped by a cascade of boos.

Taker revealed on his Six Feet Under podcast that Hogan was trying to maintain a certain demeanor as if nothing had happened out there. The Immortal One was instead pushing his beer to others in a potential attempt to digress from the talk of the town.
When asked by his co-host Matt Lyda if Taker felt bad for Hogan, The Deadman outrightly denied. Even though Mark Callaway said he does harbor feelings for people, sometimes things do come back in life, quipped the 59-year-old. Apart from that, The Undertaker did have an on-screen role at Raw. His iconic entry gong went off just when Rhea Ripley was celebrating her title win from Liv Morgan.
