Hulk Hogan is one of the most controversial personalities in the wrestling world. He often finds himself in trouble for his derogatory remarks, and many people literally hate him for it. Well, it came back to bite him once again after his disgusting comments against U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who replaced Joe Biden.
The WWE Hall of Famer has shown his astounding support for Donald Trump and even spoke on behalf of him at the recent Republican National Convention. Hulk Hogan made racial remarks about Kamala Harris‘ heritage, mocking her Indian and Jamaican backgrounds. Days after this controversy, his biopic, The Hulkster, in which the famous Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth was set to star, has now been scrapped.
The director of the movie, Todd Phillips, recently spoke with Variety and announced that it wasn’t going to happen. He stated that the cast and crew loved what they were trying to do, but unfortunately, the project wouldn’t move forward. This was heartbreaking news for Hemsworth, who put on a lot of muscle for the biopic. The Thor actor hinted at the uncertainty about the project and even said he was unaware of the situation behind the scenes.
However, this was not the first time Hogan was on the radar of angry fans for his racial remarks. Almost a month ago, another incident came to light when he fired a black female employee from his beer brand. Not only fans but also wrestlers such as former WWE star Top Dolla, aka AJ Francis, felt embarrassed after seeing his childhood hero publicly make such disparaging statements.
