Hyderabad FC vs ATK Mohun Bagan FC: Hyderabad FC faced ATK Mohun Bagan FC in the 1st leg of the semi-finals of the Hero ISL at the GMC Athletic Stadium Stadium.

ATK Mohun Bagan had a bright start to the game and they picked up their deserved goal within the first 20 minutes. Hyderabad scored their much-needed goal and equalized just before half time. The Nizams got the ball at the back of Bagan’s net twice in the second half to put their one leg into the Hero ISL final. 3-1 for Hyderabad FC.

Laxmikant Kattimani (7.2/10): Hyderabad keeper made 3-4 good saves in the crucial game. Punched some threats out well. His distribution from the back was not great. Could not do much in the only goal that he conceded.

Nim Dorjee Tamang (6.6/10): Could not go forward on overlaps much. Had to be alert to deal with Liston’s threat. Could have done better in the play that lead to Bagan’s first goal.

Chinglensana Singh (6.5/10): Drove forward with the ball whenever possible. Did not aggressively attack the ball much. Passing accuracy was decent.

Juanan (6.8/10): Had a key pass in the game. Had a fair share of the ball. The center made some vital clearances. Had a very good first half. Got an assist to his name.

Akash Mishra (7.0/10):  He was one of the players with the highest touches in the game. The fullback made some good interceptions. Had a lot of involvement in the game. Should have kept Krishna in check during Bagan’s first goal.

Souvik Chakraborty (6.6/10): Did the defensive part of the game well. Good long balls distribution. Had some good blocks and tackles to his name.

Joao Victor (6.5/10):  Very good aerially. Could not track Krishna and that lead to a goal. Passing accuracy was incredible. Cleared a lot many threats.

Aniket Jadhav (6.2/10): A very quiet game for the winger. Did not have much to show for. Gave away the ball far too easily at times. Lacked the decision making with the ball at his feet.

Mohammad Yasir (7.8/10): Could not release as many shots on goal being played as an inverted winger in the first half. Helped his fullback at well. Set-piece delivery was not good. Came back strong in the second half to give his team the lead with a great finish. Had an assist as well.

Javier Siverio (7.0/10): Was average in most of the game. Scored the 3rd goal for his team. Linked up well with his wingers. Blocked some shots.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (7.9/10): The top scorer of the league brough back his team into the contest yet again with his goal. Dribbing was good. Created some chances as well. A solid display from him. Showed immense work rate.

ATK Mohun Bagan FC

Amrinder Singh (5.5/10):  Good with his feet. Participated a lot in building up from the back for his team. Did not have to do much in the first half. Put on a very bad display in the second half where he should have done better in both the goals conceded.

Tiri (6.5/10):  Should have cleared the ball properly in the activities that lead to Ogbeche’s goal. Comfortably dealt with aerial challenges. Provided a bunch of great long balls from the back.

Sandesh Jhingan (7.2/10):  The center-back had a good outing. Made a lot of interceptions by anticipating the threat. Should have attacked the ball during the play that leads to Hyderbad’s first goal.  Good on the ball. Subbed off in the second half.

Pritam Kotal (6.8/10): ATK captain was defensively good. Caught off position at times though. Good at tussles in both the air and ground. Did not go on many overlaps.

Deepak Tangri (6.6/10): A lot of side passes and back passes from him. Helped his center-backs during counterattacks. Did some tackles. Passing was improved than earlier games.

Lenny Rodrigues (6.3/10): The holding midfielder played well. Dropped deep between his two center-backs at many stages of the game. Confident with his passing. Saw a lot of the ball as well.

Joni Kauko (6.9/10): A commanding figure in the middle of the park. Made some runs into the box at times. Created some great chances with his chipped balls. Missed a great chance in the second half.

Liston Colaco (7.0/10): The winger was giving his team the width on the pitch. Made some lovely crosses into the box and one of them was put into the net by Roy Krishna. Confident in taking on players.

Roy Krishna (7.1/10): Played as a winger today. Made greats run into the box. Good physical strength from the Fijian. Scored the first goal of the game at the 18th minute.

David Williams (6.9/10): Deployed as the number 9 today. Dropped down in the midfield region many times. Incredible vision creating chances. Subbed off in the second half as to get in a proper target man.

Subhashish Bose (6.2/10): The fullback was interestingly drifting centrally when his team was on the ball. Was constantly beaten on ground duels. Conceeded too many fouls in the first half.

Substitutions:

Manvir Singh(6.5/10): Did not do anything to impact the game. Caught offside once. Aerially good. No shots on target.

Carl McHugh(6.7/10): Came on to strengthen the midfield region. But had to shift back to the center back region due to Tiri’s injury. An average game for him.

Hugo Boumous(7.2/10): Looked bright since coming on. Put in some great deliveries into the box from the corners. Was lively with linking up and creating chances.
