YouTube sensation Jake Paul revealed that he is dedicating his life to beating the face of the fight game, Conor McGregor in a boxing bout. Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor has been the talk of the Combat Sport Community, ever since Jake Paul’s stunning KO win over ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, recently.

Speaking to Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Jake Paul also made a big claim that he would probably retire once he beats Conor McGregor. The interview was met with a mixed response, with Combat Sport purists unhappy with ESPN interviewing the YouTuber.

When asked if Conor McGregor was the name he wanted next and how realistic that could be, Jake Paul said, “It’s very realistic! We are already talking with his team, he understands that it makes sense. I wanna fight a couple more people first, but we are figuring that out; because I wanna prove to the world that I’m gonna knock out all these fighters. So, you know Conor McGregor can maybe be the final boss. You know, if we are playing a video game, he could be the final boss. I’ll probably retire after I beat McGregor, but people just think it’s a joke. People are like, Uh he’s gonna get killed! I am dedicating my life to beating Conor McGregor. Financially, it already makes sense. Financially, I’m already one of the biggest prizefighters and there’s only a couple more bosses to check off and to beat and to conquer.”

Conor McGregor currently has his hands full, as he takes on Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, on the 23rd of January, next year. He also has a possible matchup lined with boxing great Manny Pacquiao. Jake Paul, meanwhile, is just 2-0 in his professional boxing career; a cross-sport match with Conor will only be on the cards if Jake Paul manages to attain a respectable status in the world of professional boxing- only time will tell!
