“I am forever grateful…,” Virat Kohli pens heartfelt note for childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma
Kohli has thanked Sharma time and again for keeping him in high spirits and not giving up at all.

Days after winning the internet for touching his childhood coach’s feet ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) match against Delhi Capitals (DC), Virat Kohli has once again floored Rajkumar Sharma by penning a heartfelt note. Kohli shared a picture with his childhood coach and wrote a beautiful caption describing how Rajkumar Sharma always believed in him.
The former India captain also thanked Sharma for every pat on the shoulder and every smack on the head. Notably, Rajkumar Sharma used to be Virat Kohli’s coach at the West Delhi cricket academy. Kohli has thanked Sharma time and again for keeping him in high spirits and not giving up at all. The 34-year-old once again mentioned it in his heartfelt note.
“For some, sport will always come second so I feel it is very important to celebrate those who believed in you from day one. I am forever grateful to Rajkumar sir who has not just been a coach to me, but also a mentor who has supported me throughout my journey,” Kohli wrote in his note.

“I was just a boy who dared to dream but it was your belief that helped me don the Indian jersey 15 years ago. For every bit of advice, every batting lesson, every smack on my head, every pat on my back and for carrying my dream as your own, I want to thank you.”
Time for some action on the field!

While Virat Kohli has been winning hearts for his off-field gestures, the former RCB skipper needs to find his mojo on the field as well. It’s not that Kohli has not chipped in with runs but the RCB batter has failed to make match-winning contributions. For example, Kohli’s 46-ball 55 did not help his team at all as RCB lost the game and suffered a major blow in regard to their playoff chances.
Nevertheless, Kohli now needs to buckle up and dish out some match-winning knocks and help his team cross the line.
