‘I am READY’ : Sergio Aguero declares himself fit for Paris Saint Germain
Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace by two goals to nil in the Premier League on Saturday evening. The cityzens are now within touching distance of reclaiming the Premier league title. If Liverpool FC can defeat Manchester United on Sunday, the trophy will be returning back to the Etihad stadium.
Sergio Aguero is back amongst the goals for Manchester City
Argentine Striker Sergio Aguero was back again for Manchester City and was on the scoresheet as well. This is just his sixth start in the Premier League this season. He’s managed to complete only two of those. Moreover Sergio Aguero has only featured in just sixteen games across the whole season up until now. This season has restricted him with persistent injuries.
Manchester City’s all time highest goal scorer is set to leave the club at the end of the season after spending more than ten years at the club. Before leaving he will be hungry to add the UEFA Champions League trophy as well. They are facing Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi finals second leg on Tuesday and Aguero says he’s set to feature in the game.
“I’m feeling good, my knee is so good. I just wait for the opportunity to play, like today. If I don’t play it doesn’t matter. I want to be with the team-mates. Of course every player wants to play, but we’ll see.”
Finally I could play, I’m so happy. It was a long time that I hadn’t played 90 minutes. The goal was good because maybe we can win the Premier League. We wait for tomorrow. Every game is difficult, but we wait for tomorrow. Of course if Liverpool win it’s better.”
