Yet again, another UFC rising prospect is dealing with COVID-19 complications and has a lot of problems. The Light-Heavyweight prospect Jamahal Hill recently revealed that he has been dealing with a lot of problems after contracting the COVID virus. This has also led to the postponement of the fight.

Jamahal Hill is currently ranked #15 in the lightweight division. He has an amazing record so far in his pro career. “Sweet dreams” is coming off a win against Ovince Saint Preux. He won the bout by KO in the second round putting his name on the map.

The fighter was scheduled to fight against Paul Craig. Paul has a record of 14-4-1. On Instagram, Hill revealed that he has decided to call off the fight. “The fight has been postponed, it’s not canceled,” Hill said.  “I haven’t pulled out of anything. I specifically called and asked them to make sure they kept the same match intact.”

Recently we saw the fighter, Khamzat Chimaev go through a lot of hardships dealing with coronavirus. The fighter has decided to give up on his MMA career. Unlike Chimaev, Jamahal Hill says he will be back soon.

“I’m having some complications from COVID. I contracted COVID a little over a week ago and the shit ain’t been going f—king good for me. Started out with a fever, I’ve been dealing with all type of symptoms ever since then including chest tightness, chest congestion, my breathing is off and as recent as yesterday, I coughed up blood.

Then I spit some mucus out and there was blood inside of it. So f—k what anybody talking about. My health is in question. When my health is in question, that’s going to get my undivided attention” the fighter explained.

Currently, there are no words on the Hill vs. Craig fight. Do you think Craig should move on from the fight or stay and fight the lightweight prospect?
