Samantha Irvin recently announced her departure from WWE. Given that she was a vital part of the company and part of various iconic moments over the past few years. Thus, it was not surprising to see fans get highly emotional over this news and make extreme claims.
Now that she was no longer bound by any company regulations, Irvin replied to a lot of hate comments on social media openly. She began by asserting that she did not leave the company due to any financial reasons. In fact, she replied to a hater saying that her fiancee, Ricochet, was earning much more in AEW than he was in WWE.
She also called out people who harassed and blamed her partner for Irvin leaving WWE. They thought that she wanted to go spend time with her fiancee. Instead, she clarified that she only began ring announcing to gain entry into the wrestling industry as she wanted to be a manager. She never enjoyed being a ring announcer in the first place, and that’s all that WWE ever saw in her. Irvin gave a quirky response to the claim of being the breadwinner in the house instead of Ricochet.
There were also rumors going around that the Raw announcer had only informed the company about her departure just a day prior to the latest episode of the red brand. However, she also refuted this rumor, claiming that she had informed them months in advance. Fans have truly gotten to see a completely different side of Irvin over the past few days. She has never been this open and unrestricted with her tweets.

Irvin being in the audience is unlikely to be the first step of a bigger relationship with AEW. Reportedly, she left the company to focus on her music career rather than go to another wrestling company. Meanwhile, WWE has found a replacement for the 35-year-old with the recent return of Lilian Garcia.
