Derrick Lewis is all set for his fight that will get him a shot title. In the main event of UFC Vegas 19, Derrick Lewis is going against Curtis Blaydes. Both the fighter have trash-talked each other for a long time now and are ready to go at it. The fight takes place on the 21st of February.

Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis is coming off a 3-match winning streak. His last bout was with Aleksei Olenik whom he knocked out in the second round at UFC Fight Night last August.

The Razor is unbeaten for the last 4 matches and is looking to get his 5th winning match in the unbeaten streak. There is no doubt that the bout is going to be an intriguing one. Lewis is known to have one-punch KO power. The Black Beast believes that he will end Razors streak.

“What makes me dangerous is the power that I have my hands and my will to win. I don’t care who is my opponent, I believe I have the tools to put away any man,” Lewis said on the Fight’s preview.

The Black beast believes that he has been training hard and is in his best possible shape. “I’m coming in, in one of the best shapes of my career, a lot quicker, more agile. This is my time now to prove to these guys it’s not going to be easy whenever they see my name on that paper.”

Fans and critics believe that Lewis will not be able to knockdown Curtis as “Razor” might try to take the fight to the mat. But Lewis begs to differ and says he will eventually break Blaydes.

“This fight right here is going to be very violent and very bloody. I feel I could break Curtis by the third round and that’s what’s going to happen,” Derrick Lewis said. “This is going to be a very intense battle, we both want the title shot right after this and I believe I could get the job done.”
