Future UFC Megastar Sean O’Malley is happily living the best of his life. From getting back to back 3 knockout victories in 2021 to partying with popular stars like Tekashi 6ix9ine and having a blast in a podcast with The Nelk Boys, you name a moment that feels euphoric, O’Malley has lived it all. Now, after his couple of fights more, O’Malley will have to re-sign with the UFC and chances are that his pockets may get fatter to another level considering the brand he is in himself and the performances he delivers inside the UFC Octagon.

O’Malley busted into the UFC with his entry into the first season of Dana White’s Contender Series in 2017, when he delivers a viral knockout of Alfred Khashakyan, since then, O’Malley is 7-1 in the UFC with incredible knockout victories over Eddie Wineland, Thomas Almeida, Raulian Paiva and stoppage of Kris Moutinho. Now, since becoming a ranked contender, O’Malley will now look forward to going up in the rankings with loads of options from the top 15.

In an interview with sports journalist Dave Shmulenson aka The Schmo, O’Malley reacted to UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya signing a new deal with the UFC which will make the latter “one of the top paid athletes” of the UFC. Adesanya is fighting this week at UFC 271 to defend his title against preceding champion Robert Whittaker in a rematch.

“That’s interesting you know, that’s uh, well deserved a hundred per cent, says O’Malley “I have 2 fights on my contract and I plan on being up there in the highest paid and I know a lot of people I don’t even really know if people are going to have a tough time with that because it’s the entertainment business and when it comes to entertainment business no one does it like the ‘Sugar Show’ [a synonym coined by O’Malley for his fights]. So you know after these couple of fights I think I’m gonna have a really nice good-looking contract.”

What do you make of O’Malley’s assessment of his future with the UFC in comparison to Adesanya’s right now? Do you think O’Malley deserves some serious 7-figures raise to his pay as a fighter? Do you think O’Malley will become a champion in the future? O’Malley is ranked #13 but he has become one of the hottest prospects to look out for in the UFC and is known for being the best of multiple worlds besides fighting, such as gaming and partying.
