Serena Williams the American tennis professional who was ranked World No. 1 for 319 weeks by the WTA is still unclear about her return to the courts. She recently dropped a clue about her return after her break up whit her coach Patrick Mouratoglou. She was absent from her retirement in the first round in Wimbledon on June 29th, 2021. Even though she is a mother of a 4-year-old child, she has not given up on her dream to equal Margaret Court’s record 24 Grand Slam titles.
She said she doesn’t think that she recognizes her accomplishments enough. She is a person who thinks that if it’s done it’s done and she moves on. She also thinks that she never wants to stop. she always tries to achieve her goals.
This chapter of her life makes her happy because she has played tennis for many years and has also enjoyed playing tennis, but now she wants to play for herself. she wants to participate in tournaments when and where she wants but she doesn’t want to go. She says that she is enjoying her life in a different way.

“I don’t think I recognize my accomplishments enough. I’m one of those people who think, ‘If it’s done, it’s done, I’ve moved on. Because if you think too much about what you’ve done, you might stop doing it. And I never want to stop. I always try to achieve my goals. This chapter of my career makes me happy because for so many years I played, and I enjoyed doing it, but now I just play for myself. I participate in tournaments when and where I want, but I don’t have to go. So I’m enjoying life in a different way,” she said in a recent interview.
Serena hasn’t played since her injury at Wimbledon. She slipped on the center court grass during her first match last summer. She has been out with an injury since then. The rumors say that she has been preparing for retirement. However, she announced that she will be playing the Wimbledon this year.
