‘I want to box Floyd Mayweather’ – Aljamain Sterling vows to put on a real show


It looks like Aljamain Sterling wants to take on Boxing great Floyd Mayweather in a boxing fight; his recent tweets show that he is really desperate.
Aljamain Sterling, the number 1 ranked Bantamweight contender was expected to face Petr Yan for the Bantamweight Title on the 12th of December, 2020. However, the bout was cancelled due to undisclosed reasons and is expected to be rescheduled for a later UFC event.
In the wake of this, the Jamaican American took to Twitter posting a series of tweets, expressing his desire to box, the legendary Floyd Mayweather, also adding that he was currently living in Las Vegas.

Aljamain Sterling first tweeted, “I want to box .@FloydMayweather. My title fight is postponed til February or March. I live in Vegas now. Let’s go! Mayweather Promotions! #TysonvsJones“
“In all seriousness. One boxing match,” he went on.
Sterling reiterated that he wasn’t joking. “This is not a joke. Get me a boxing fight before years end, and I’ll show you guys a real show! Not that YouTube bullshit! Hold me to it!.@espnmma .@OscarDeLaHoya .@MayweatherPromo .@UFC .@danawhite,” he tweeted.
Sterling also replied to a fan who claimed that he (Sterling) was late to the party. “I must be late to the party because I’ve always wanted to do a boxing fight? And I also wanted to do a kickboxing fight. BKF, I’m good on that,” Sterling replied.
