Kayvon Thibodeaux is one of the most highly touted prospects in the 2022 NFL draft. It’s one thing being the best player at your position but a completely different thing to be the best player in the draft.
That is exactly what many people believe Kayvon Thibodeaux is. The fact that he’s built exactly like what coaches want in a pass rusher combined with his football knowledge and ability to use his physicality makes him one of the scariest prospects in the draft. He may not have used his power too much in college but he definitely knows how to.
In his 3 seasons with Oregon, he used his elite speed rushing skills to rack up 135 total tackles, 19 sacks, and 35.5 tackles for loss. He was an absolute game wrecker in college and recently revealed his plans for the NFL.

Kayvon Thibodeaux shows just how ambitious he is
Making his press appearances at the NFL Scouting Combine, Kayvon Thibodeaux revealed his combine goals saying “I think the biggest thing that I think I want to articulate to the teams is that I’m really a student of the game. I really love this game and this is something that’s going to be there till the day I die. It’s just letting teams know that this really is my main thing.”
Thibodeaux also added, “Football is my main focus, winning a Super Bowl, getting a yellow(gold) jacket, being defensive rookie of the year, it’s on my goals.”
It’s lofty goals for someone to set. While there certainly is nothing wrong with being ambitious, you have to live up to your words when you put it out there like that. While his talent has never been questioned, his drive for the game has been under scrutiny recently.
This response seems to put to bed the questions about his passion for football. Now all that’s left for Thibodeaux is to make sure he continues to put in the hard work to live up to his claims.
