Ian Machado Garry and Colby Covington are the two of the most controversial fighters in the UFC’s welterweight division. After a series of words, the two have flirted with the idea of fighting. Now, Garry has revealed exciting news about it.

Ian Garry had called out Colby Covington after he defeated Geoff Neal at UFC 298. However, Covington responded with three unrealistic stipulations. In response, Garry made a social media post to counter it, to which Covington responded in kind. It has gone on for some time now. Recently, Garry revealed an interesting development in the fight via social media.

Seeing how Covington would respond to Garry’s callout will be fascinating. The chances are that he would likely respond very disrespectfully towards Garry and his personal life, like before. Nonetheless, the UFC will have the final say in the matter, and it all looks like it will soon happen.

From the video, it looked like Garry played a clay court game with one of his friends or training partner. Garry looked jacked in the video, which showed him expecting a fight soon. The UFC has a penchant for making the fight that fans want. Ian Garry vs Colby Covington is a fight that fans will appreciate due to the intense rivalry and backstory.

Interestingly, neither Covington nor Garry has had an exciting fight lately. Covington lost via unanimous decision to Leon Edwards. On the other hand, Garry defeated Geoff Neal and Neil Magny; both lackluster fights. However, a matchup between Garry and Covington, who have contrasting styles would be exciting.
