Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev is history, and Anthony Joshua emerged the victor with a marauding performance. But, there was just one thing which disappointed people at the stadium and the boxing – it was Anthony Joshua’s reluctance to call-out his nemesis Tyson Fury.

Dillian Whyte too wasn’t impressed with how Anthony Joshua went about in the post-fight interview and he has once again reiterated his frustration with the Brit’s reply. Speaking in an episode of Toe2Toe podcast, a dejected Whyte said, all Joshua had to say was ‘let’s get the fight made to Tyson Fury.’

“It’s a bit shameful that Joshua didn’t reply with the answer we wanted” – Dillian Whyte

Michael Benson of TalkSPORT tweeted, “”Dillian Whyte on AJ’s post-fight interview: “I’d have been screaming from the roof for Fury… It’s a bit shameful that Joshua didn’t reply with the answer we wanted. He should’ve said, ‘Listen, Fury, let’s get this made.’ That’s all he’s gotta say. Very disappointing.” [Toe2Toe]

Dillian Whyte is currently negotiating a fight with the “Bronze Bomber”, as a rematch with Alexander Povetkin seems to be taking time, as the Russian is still recovering from the effects of Coronavirus. Dillian Whyte will look to avenge the loss once the Russian is ready, as Povetkin defeated Whyte in his own backyard, earlier this year (in August).

Do you agree with Dillian Whyte? Should Anthony Joshua have called out Tyson Fury at his post-fight interview?
