“If LeBron wanted to swing at me…” Lakers superstar reaction to internet sensation’s Luka Doncic trade skit revealed

RDC World aka Mark Phillips spoke about making LeBron James related skits

LeBron James has made it quite clear by now that he is aware of everything that surrounds him on the internet. From the memes to the love or hate he receives from fans, James sees it all. So it wasn’t going to be long before James noticed all of the videos reacting to the Los Angeles Lakers trading for Luka Doncic. Youtuber and content creator Mark Phillips confirmed this with a recent video.

His recent skit about Anthony Davis being traded by the Los Angeles Lakers for Luka Doncic went viral on Youtube and social media, and was even watched by LeBron James according to Phillips. While streaming on Twitch on his RDC Gaming channel, he spoke about how the direction of his comedic skits does not change regardless of it comedically targeting people people he actually knows, such as James.

YouTube video

I don’t change nothing to make sh*t different. Like, anytime I make a video about even people I meet, it is what it is. Like, If LeBron wanted to swing at me, full power, I just hope I can dodge it, because I know if he connect, I probably would be done bro.

Mark Phillips said on his stream

Mark Phillips, aka, Supreme Dreams, is one of the biggest content creators in the sports and gaming sphere, with his RDCworld1 channel on Youtube currently standing with 7.52 million subscribers. The video by Phillips has garnered over 4 million views so far, so it isn’t difficult to imagine that it may have been watched by James as well.

LeBron James has made his internet awareness clear of late, even going so far as to address some of the jokes that are made about him on social media. Just last year, James addressed the running joke online about him lying about predicting historic moments. He even addressed the viral internet meme of James reading a book upside down. One thing is clear, King James sees everything being said about him on the internet.

LeBron James once commented on Mark Phillips’ and RDC World’s skits

Mark Phillips’ latest skit about the Luka Doncic trade to the Lakers, which was supposedly watched by James according to him, wasn’t the first time that he and James have crossed paths.

In January 2021, following the shocking trade of James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets to form a big three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Phillips made a video skit reenacting what he believed LeBron James’ reaction would have been to the blockbuster trade in the aftermath of the Los Angeles Lakers 2020 championship. James responded by tweeting one of Mark Williams’ vintage LeBron dialogues from that skit.

James, who was 36 years old then, quoted his post on X, and laughed about the Nets forming a superteam which was supposed to rival the Lakers. Ultimately, the trade for Harden to the Nets would turn out to be pointless, as injuries and administrative restrictions would bind the trio of James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to appear in just 16 games together across nearly 2 seasons.
