‘Wildest dreams’ of a ‘Swiftie’ have finally come true! On June 14th, Iga Swiatek announced that she had finally attended one of Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concerts.

Swiatek could be seen teary-eyed in the photo she shared on X holding a letter. It seems the Pole received a personal letter from the 14-time Grammy Award winner as words, “Iga Congratulations on your…” appears, which seemingly confirms that the pop star sent a handwritten card to the five-time Grand Slam winner congratulating her for her recent win at the Roland Garros and inviting her to the concert.

I'm dead. Yes, I cried many times during the show. Yes, it was incredible. You are amazing @taylorswift13.

Tennis fans very well remember the video in which Swiatek asked her manager, Jules, to get Swift’s Eras Tour ticket during one of her 2024 Madrid Open press conferences, and asked about the dates as well.

Taylor Swift? Ask Jules, he's an IMG agent, so he should get it. No, but it's hard with the schedule. I think there's one show that is going to be perfect, but I think the tickets are already sold out.

Bizarre coincidence as Iga Swiatek hasn’t lost a match since Taylor Swift’s latest album

Iga Swiatekstraightway” listened to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album after her Stuttgart Open exit and explained later how the vibe was different than Swift’s ‘Midnights’ album.

Last year, Swiatek made it known to the tennis world how she admires the American pop star when she signed the camera by writing “I’m feeling 22!#Swiftie,” after her second-round win at the French Open which came after her 22nd birthday.

Coincidentally, Swiatek hasn’t lost a single match since listening to The Tortured Poets Department album! She arrived in Madrid after the Stuttgart Open, won the title, then ended her campaign in the Italian Open with another title, and then topped it all off by winning her fourth Roland Garros title.

In the Roland Garros final, Swiatek beat Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 to win the title for the third consecutive time. Swiatek will now try to maintain her winning streak on the grass season.

She recently announced that she won’t be playing in the Berlin Open due to physical and mental fatigue. In the next Grand Slam event at the Wimbledon, the World No.1 will aim to go past the quarterfinals for the first time.
