Iga Swiatek gets into the rhythm on the grass courts of Wimbledon after immense practice
French Open winner Iga Swiatek had a dominating season on clay and entered the third surface of tennis with immense confidence. Even though she has not gone past the semis in this Grand Slam, the Pole believes that she has gotten into her rhythm after training.
I’m happy that I came here early because there is a huge difference between the grass that we have in our own country, for example, and here. Day after day I felt like I was getting more rhythm and I can feel the ball better. I feel good.Iga Swiatek said via Punto de break
Swiatek will begin her Wimbledon campaign against experienced American Sofia Kenin. This will be the second time that she is facing Kenin. Having beaten her earlier at the Australian Open, the Pole would have more confidence to repeat the same.
