Jake Paul has built his boxing reputation through relentless feuds with UFC stars and calculated crossovers against elite veterans. Victories over Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz strengthened his credibility while intensifying debates across combat sports communities worldwide. Now, Paul is trading verbal shots with lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, teasing another potential crossover showdown soon.

Topuria recently collaborated with popular streamer Adin Ross, streaming and playing a UFC video game together. During their conversation, they discussed multiple combat sports topics and even placed a spontaneous FaceTime call to Jake Paul live.

At first, Paul and Topuria exchanged mutual respect, explaining publicly why they appreciated each other’s achievements and dedication. The mood quickly shifted when Jake Paul challenged ‘El Matador’ to an in-person sparring session to test their skills. Paul claimed he offered private jets for sparring invitations, noting Paddy Pimblett declined, while Topuria insisted he would travel anywhere.

When you get your jaw healed, let’s do it. Just get ready because you’ll need another period of time to recover your jaw. I’m gonna put you on the height of my balls. You’re gonna be on your knees.

Ilia Topuria acknowledged that Jake Paul was a savvy promoter who understood how to sell fights and generate massive paydays. Referencing Paul’s reported purse against Anthony Joshua, the UFC champion noted the ‘Problem Child’ allegedly earned more than $90 million. Despite praising his business acumen, Topuria insisted Paul that lack elite boxing skills and would not survive against him.

Paul fired back by mocking Topuria’s height and claiming UFC fighters often talk loudly without following through. He further added that Topuria answers Dana White and earns significantly less money compared to top professional boxers.

Nevertheless, Paul was recently seen hanging out with Arman Tsarukyan in Armenia and eating caviar on snowy mountains. Tsarukyan is one of the top contenders in the lightweight division and has called out Topuria for a long time. However, it seems like the Georgian-Spanish star has some other plans for his ideal UFC fight.

They have repeatedly spoken about fighting one another while exchanging barbs through interviews, social media posts, and press conferences. Those interactions consistently intensified fan anticipation for what many consider a potential super fight between two dominant champions.

Realistically, both men remain occupied and will attempt to defend their titles in separate weight classes, limiting immediate crossover opportunities for a long-awaited showdown. However, El Matador believes a perfect scenario could eventually align schedules and finally deliver their clash inside the Octagon.

Perfect scenario for me would be fighting him at welterweight, that way I’m able to collect my third belt. Another great scenario would be to fight between 155 and 170 and create a new belt.

Recently, Topuria dealt with personal turmoil surrounding his divorce, but he has publicly confirmed that those matters are resolved. Now training intensely, many expect him to face interim champion Justin Gaethje at the White House event.
