Patricio Freire is definitely one of the greatest fighters in Bellator MMA history. The 31-4 Brazilian more recently devastated Pedro Carvalho in the very first round, when the two faced-off in the main event of Bellator 252. And he is ranked the number 3 featherweight in the ‘world’. Beat That!

More recently, Patricio Freire has hinted at a cracker of a contest in the form of a cross-promotional bout against ‘the face of the fight game’ – Conor McGregor. Yes, you read that right. Patricio took to Twitter to confirm that there is definitely something brewing between him and Conor.

Right after Patricio’s victory over Pedro Carvalho; Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh tweeted, “Took a shot and came up short. That’s the game sometimes. Very proud of @PCarvalhoMMA and look forward to his run in 2021. Congratulations to Pitbull brothers team, class act in victory.“

A determined Patricio replied saying, “It’s the nature of the game. The rivalry will continue through our fighters and everyone will grow from it. Best of luck against anyone who isn’t us. Pedro is strong. Now about that dream match you mentioned @John_Kavanagh, I’m ready when you are @TheNotoriousMMA.“
