Houston RocketsIme Udoka and Alperen Sengun were ejected from Tuesday night’s NBA Cup game against the Sacramento Kings, a contest the Houston Rockets lost 120-111. The pair’s ejection marked a frustrating turn of events for the Rockets.

During his postgame interview, Udoka didn’t mince his words when expressing his views about the referee’s decisions during the game. He said that his team got fouled a couple of times on their drive and layups and didn’t get their fouls called by the referees.

Missed calls, blatant missed calls right in front of you, you’re calling ticky tack moving screens, little s— like that, but you don’t want to call the obvious ones right in front of you. That was it. Thought [Sengun] got fouled a few times on that drive and on the layup and they don’t want to call it. So I told him to get some f**king glasses and open your eyes.

The loss proved costly for the Rockets, as it knocked them out as the top seed in the NBA Cup quarterfinals. Despite a hard-fought effort, they were unable to overcome the Kings’ strong performance, and the defeat dropped them down the standings.
